1782 Year in Revolution

Our 1782 Year in Revolution videos present both a comprehensive overview, as well as a “who, what, when, where, and how,” for the year, employing archival animation that features the library and museum collections of the American Revolution Institute of the Society of the Cincinnati.Year in Revolution “who” videos explore categories of people from the revolutionary generation, “what” videos explore revolutionary ideas and ideals, “when” videos explore revolutionary events, “where” videos explore key places during the Revolution, and “how” videos explore relationships that helped define the Revolution. Featured video topics were suggested by our national network of Master Teacher Seminar alumni.

Funding for the 1782 installment of Year in Revolution was made possible by a grant from the George S. Rich Family Foundation.
