1776 Year in Revolution

Year in Revolution videos present both a comprehensive overview, as well as a “who, what, when, where, and how,” for each year of the war, employing archival animation that feature the library and museum collections of the American Revolution Institute of the Society of the Cincinnati. “Who” videos explore categories of people from the revolutionary generation, “what” videos explore revolutionary ideas and ideals, “when” videos explore revolutionary events, “where” videos explore key places during the Revolution, and “how” videos explore relationships that helped define the Revolution. Featured video topics were suggested by our national network of Master Teacher Seminar alumni.

Funding for the 1776 installment of Year in Revolution was made possible by a grant from the by the George S. Rich Family Foundation.

The creative team for this series was assembled by the American Revolution Institute and the talented educational production leads at Makematic Limited.
