We look forward to your visit to Anderson House. Before you arrive at the museum, please take note of the following tips and information, which will make your visit even smoother and more enjoyable.

Location
Anderson House is located at 2118 Massachusetts Avenue, NW, between 21st and 22nd Streets in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C. There is no parking onsite. Short-term loading and unloading space for buses is available on Massachusetts Avenue directly in front of Anderson House. For directions by car or public transportation, click here.

Accessibility
Anderson House is accessible to wheelchairs and other aids through an exterior ramp to the first floor at the front of the house and elevators to the second floor. Due to the historic nature of our elevators, we can only accommodate wheelchairs that are 24 ¾” wide, one at a time. If needed, we can provide the use of a wheelchair that fits the elevator during your visit.

We welcome you to take photographs while in Anderson House with hand-held cameras for personal use. Selfie sticks, tripods, lights and photo shoot-type photographs are not permitted. To schedule a photo shoot, click here.

Wet umbrellas and large bags—including backpacks, large handbags and luggage—are not allowed inside the museum. An unattended coat room is available inside the museum for visitor use.
